There is much controversy
regarding identity theft. We often receive questions about security,
especially after
our customers view TV commercials by a national bank chain that sells their
credit card product by touting theft protection for their credit cards.
The commercials are whimsical, but quite disturbing to many people.
While identity theft awareness
campaigns are
extremely important, it is just as important to
recognize that many websites do not provide a secure environment for their
customers to transact business. Unlike many of our
competitors, the Brent-Krueger team is working hard to ensure that your shopping
experience is both un-paralleled and safe.
Listed below is our
security process, one of the most comprehensive in the industry. We're not
aware of any of our competitors who take your security as seriously as we do!

Both our website and are
shopping cart reside on different servers. That way we can focus our
attention in keeping the shopping cart server secure to avoid our customer's
information being compromised.

We have added redundant layers of encryption in order to ensure
that your shopping experience is a safe one. Our shopping cart resides on
a separate secure dedicated server, to be certain that the information you share with us
remains confidential. The shopping cart server is run on a UNIX operating
system, not Microsoft, to avoid all of the controversial viruses, worms and
such that are been circulating around the internet lately.
After you use the "checkout
now" button at our shopping cart, and choose the method of payment, you will notice that the Brent-Krueger
ordering process is secure. The title bar will have a https: preceding the website
address for our shopping cart server, which denotes that your sensitive
information is being encrypted prior to sending. Also, you will notice the
little lock graphic at the bottom right of your screen which is a visual indication
that the information you are about to enter will be transmitted in a secure
manner.

In accordance with procedures
required by Visa, Master Card and Discover, our secure server requires the
use of the CVV code on the back of your credit card before your order can be
processed. The CVV code is the last three digits of the number that
appears either on, or above, or below the signature strip. The reason
you are required to enter the CVV code is to provide a second level of
protection - by ensuring that the credit card is in your possession when
you're placing the order. The credit card number, along with the
expiration date and the CVV code are used by your card issuing bank as part
of the approval process. By regulation, we do not store the CVV code
in data files or on paper at all. They are used exclusively during the
approval process. If credit card information is
taken by telephone or fax, or received by mail, documents containing this
information are shredded immediately after use.

We do not share your information with any other firms,
and only use it ourselves only if we need to contact you to discuss your order,
or to provide you with order and shipping confirmations.

All incoming email is scanned
for viruses prior to review by our staff, and prior to sending email
confirmations to our customers. Our entire system is monitored 24
hours a day/7 days a week to ensure that access is limited only to
non-customer information.

Even though you may provide us
with a email address in you order, we do not automatically subscribe you to our
mailing list. If you wish to be added to our mailing list, please follow
the "Join Our Mailing List" link found at the top of our product
index. If you wish to be removed from our mailing list after you've subscribed, a link is provided
below. We also provide a link within each of our mailings to ensure
removal is you so desire.

If it is necessary for our
staff to write down any of your billing, shipping and/or credit card
information prior to entering your order, all written documents are shredded
immediately after the information has been input into our system. Once
your order is entered into our system, our staff can only see the last 4
digits of your credit card number. The data field for credit card
numbers in our database is encrypted so that no numbers are visible, and
credit card numbers are purged from our system after 120 days.
